About Tesamorelin – 10MG

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of human growth hormone-releasing factor, GRF(1-44), corresponding to the full-length 44-amino-acid GHRH sequence with a trans-3-hexenoyl group attached to the N-terminal tyrosine. This N-terminal acylation stabilizes the peptide against enzymatic degradation, extending functional activity relative to the unmodified GRF sequence while preserving GHRH-receptor agonism.

In research model systems, Tesamorelin activates the GHRH receptor to stimulate endogenous growth-hormone secretion, and it has been studied extensively for its downstream effects on the GH/IGF-1 axis and on visceral adipose tissue. As a full-length, stabilized GHRH analog, it is often contrasted with the shorter GHRH(1-29)-based tools Sermorelin and CJC-1295 in comparative endocrine research. Supplied as a lyophilized powder for research use only.

Research use only — not for human or animal consumption. Per-batch documentation is provided with the material.

Handling and Storage Tips:

Keep peptides cold and away from light once received.

For short-term use (days to weeks), refrigeration at 4°C (39°F) is acceptable.

Lyophilized peptides are typically stable at room temperature for several weeks, making it suitable for moderate-term storage.

For long-term storage (months to years), it’s best to freeze peptides at -80°C (-112°F). Freezing optimally preserves peptide stability for extended periods.

Research Context
GHRH-receptor pharmacologyUsed as a stabilized full-length GHRH agonist to study receptor activation and GH secretory dynamics.
GH/IGF-1 axis researchInvestigated for downstream stimulation of endogenous GH and IGF-1 in model systems.
Visceral adipose tissue modelsStudied extensively in preclinical and clinical research for effects on visceral fat and lipid parameters.

Comparative GHRH-analog studiesServes as the full-length (1-44) stabilized reference against shorter GHRH(1-29)-based analogs.
Research Findings

Research on Tesamorelin has characterized it as a stabilized GHRH analog that restores GHRH-receptor-mediated GH secretion and, through the resulting rise in GH and IGF-1, reduces visceral adipose tissue in model systems and clinical study populations. The N-terminal hexenoyl modification is central to its extended activity relative to native GRF.

Studies have also examined its effects on lipid profiles and glucose homeostasis, positioning Tesamorelin as a well-documented tool for investigating the metabolic consequences of sustained GHRH-receptor stimulation.

History

Tesamorelin was developed by Theratechnologies as a stabilized GRF(1-44) analog and received U.S. FDA approval in November 2010 for the reduction of excess visceral abdominal fat in HIV-associated lipodystrophy. It remains one of the most thoroughly documented GHRH analogs in the clinical and research literature.

Are these research materials third-party tested?

Yes — every batch is analysed by an accredited (ISO 17025) independent laboratory using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with a per-batch Certificate of Analysis.

What purity are the materials?

Materials are verified to 99%+ HPLC purity. Any batch that does not meet the threshold is not released.

Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

Yes. Per-batch COA documentation is provided and is traceable by lot number.

Where do you ship from?

Materials are shipped from the USA in discreet, protective packaging.

Are these products for human use?

No. All materials are sold strictly for laboratory research use only — not for human or animal consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease.
